I have just heard Libby Purves on Midweek. She referred to
the play the ‘Taming of the Shrew’ as being about 'This bitch of a woman'. I
have been dedicated to fighting domestic violence for years and frankly
language like this does nothing to challenge the beliefs of abusive men.
